I really love figs. Andy and I look forward to the two short windows each year when beautiful purple Mission figs appear at the market. We love to eat them with prosciutto, grill them, stuff them with cheese and then grill them. Fresh figs are just so yummy! When we lived in Texas, I worked with a woman who had a fig tree in her yard. Since she didn’t like figs, she would bring me her beautiful, freshly picked green figs all season. We couldn’t get enough of them. Then I saw this. It’s not going to be easy unlearning this before the next fig season rolls around.
